Comings and Goings Just notes that Bruce Weitz surfaces next week and KeMo has signed a deal to stay with the show as confirmed by a GH rep. And Wally Kurth will be joining ATWT for a brief stint in a newly created role named Sam.
GH's Luke Returns Look out, Baldwin(s). Luke finally returns home after a four-month absence and he is not happy to discover that his little girl has gotten very close to the illegitimate son of his longtime rival, Scotty. "It's not a good day for Luke Spencer," grins Kin Shriner. Prior to Luke's reappearance, brokenhearted Lulu insists that she wants nothing to do with Logan. But now that Scott knows Logan is, indeed, his son, he makes Lulu an offer he hopes she can't refuse: He'll drop the kidnapping charges against Luke and turn Laura's guardianship back to Nikolas - if Lulu will give Logan one more chance.
"This is Scott's attempt to make up for lost time," Shriner explains. "Knowing what it's like to lose the woman he loves, he's trying to help his son get together with Lulu." She takes the offer, but once Luke is brought up to speed, the senior Spencer attacks the senior Baldwin. "We always have the token sucker punch thrown in there," laughs Shriner. "It's all up in the air now."
"This poor guy never gets a break," sighs Josh Duhon of his character's dilemma. "All of Lulu's friends and siblings have been pounding on him. If that's not enough, now it's Lulu's long-lost father arriving. The optimist side of Logan might think that Luke could see him like he was when he was younger. But in all likelihood, based on the fact that he's Scott Baldwin's bastard son, he's not going to be fond of him [laughs]."
